Callaly Cottage Retreat - Bed and Breakfast
We have an adults only policy at Callaly, although we are happy to accommodate children over 16 yrs of age. Occasionally, in low season, we may accommodate younger children by telephone arrangement if you book both rooms.
Bookings are made and a contract between you and us comes into effect when we accept a reservation from you and have received your £70 deposit. We will send you an email confirmation. You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18yrs to make a Booking.
The balance is payable by cash or credit/debit card. Please note that credit card payments incur a 2% surcharge. There is no charge for using a debit card. We do not accept cheques.
A non refundable deposit of £70 applies to all bookings.
If the cancellation is less than two weeks away from the date the booking commences, the full booking fee is payable, unless we can re-let the room which we will of course endeavour to do.
If the cancellation is more than two weeks from the date the booking commences, but less than 28 days, we will ask you to pay for 2 nights accommodation, unless we can re-let the room.
To make a cancellation please call us on 01665 574 684 or 07733 266 487 as soon as possible and quote your name and check-in date.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in time is normally between 4.30 - 6pm. Saturday check-in around noon please if possible! Check-in outside these times must be confirmed with us by telephone conversation before your arrival so that we may be ready to welcome you properly.
We ask that rooms be vacated by 10.30am on your last day to enable us to make the rooms ready for new guests arriving.
Examples of damage would be:
Dirty shoes - soiling of carpets or furnishings by walking into the house with mud encrusted shoes or clothing.
Spillage of red wine or tea/coffee onto furnishings or decor.
Indelible ink on bedding or soft furnishings.
Please do not attempt to clean carpets or furnishings by rubbing a spill
in. After a spill, please tell us as soon as you can as we can sometimes negate the damage with cleaning
We ask you not to place suitcases onto the beds as they are often less than clean and can transfer soil to the bedding.
You are responsible for any damage or loss you cause to our property, and agree to pay us the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any damage or loss.
Sorry, for the benefit of all of our guests, we do not accommodate pets.
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the property.
smoking in a room or bathroom would incur an excess fee of £100 for
additional cleaning, and further compensation re loss of business if we
have to cancel the subsequent booking. For the comfort and wellbeing of
our other guests, if you do smoke outside of the house we ask that you do
it away from the building and dispose of your butts respectfully - thank you.
