For Callaly Cottage Retreat - Bed and Breakfast
CHILDREN POLICY
We have an adults only policy at Callaly. We will accommodate children over 16 yrs of age.
BOOKINGS.
Bookings are made and a contract between you and us comes into effect when we accept a reservation from you. You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18yrs to make a Booking.
ONLINE BOOKINGS.
We will accept a reservation when we have confirmed your reservation by email and received full payment. Bookings must be paid for using an acceptable and valid credit or debit card. When a Booking is confirmed, a reservation number is given. Please keep this number for access to the Booking details if cancellation or amendment is necessary.
TELEPHONE BOOKINGS.
We will accept a reservation when we have confirmed your reservation by email and received either a deposit or full payment using an acceptable and valid credit or debit card.. Please keep this email for access to the Booking details if cancellation or amendment is necessary.
PAYMENT
Any balance is payable by cash or credit/debit card. Please note that credit card payments incur a 2% surcharge
CANCELLATIONS.
A non refundable deposit of the equivalent of 1 nights stay applies to all bookings.
If the cancellation is less than one week away from the date the booking commences, the full booking fee is payable, unless we can re-let the room which we will of course endeavour to do.
If the cancellation is more than one week from the date the booking commences, but less than 28 days, we will ask you to pay for 2 nights accommodation, unless we can re-let the room.
If the cancellation is more than 28 days from the date the booking commences, the first night will be payable and other monies will be returned to you.
To make a cancellation please call us on 01665 574 684 as soon as possible and quote Your reservation number (online bookings), name and check-in date and have details of Your credit or debit card available.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in time is normally between 5 - 6pm. Check-in outside these times must be confirmed with us by telephone conversation before your arrival so that we may be ready to welcome you properly.
Please note - due to other commitments, check in is not normally available on Saturday or Sunday. Late check in is available for Friday evenings so that you may make the most of your weekend stay with us.
LIABILITY.
You are responsible for any damage or loss you cause to our property, and agree to pay us the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any damage or loss.
PETS
Sorry, for the benefit of all of our guests, we do not accommodate pets.
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the property.
ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

Callaly Cottage is a 100 year old building and is accessed by a gravel drive off a quiet B road. There is a cobble path that leads around to the front of the house where guests enter. The drive and path are both uneven surfaces due to their nature and not really suited to those who are unsteady on their feet or disabled. There is one step into the building and all bedrooms are on the first floor. We ask all guests to kindly remove their outdoor shoes upon entering the cottage, so please bring your slippers/soft shoes to wear during your stay.
